A squid letter

It will grow in the dark.

I received a letter from my niece; she is a junior high school student and loves writing and drawing; we saw each other before the pandemic.

First, I saw the brown envelope a letter, which was quite heavy.

Then I opened the brown envelope with a squid letter for my reply. My niece said it was cute and wanted to share it with me, and she asked me to reply to her using an unopened squid letter.

The package said it would grow in the dark!

These days all conversations will end with LINE, WhatsApp, and WeChat. So I almost forgot how to correct Kanji because I don’t need it, My phone suggests Kanji, and I just picked them up.

She reminds me I still have stamps over ten years ago because 80 yen stamps couldn’t use in 2020. So I need another 4 yen stamp to send a letter.

She also reminds me it is not only the digital world that exists. For example, I never show my stamp collections to my niece, but she might like them.
